Because, of course, you all want to know …
- Christmas lists: I’ve added a few things to my Amazon list, more in way of noting things I might buy if I don’t get them for Christmas or my birthday.
- Christmas decor: Decor remains up and very purty. Katherine is diligently doing the Advent Calendar.
- Christmas cards: Continue to trickle in from others, but all folks we sent them to. One change-of-address I need to deal with.
- Christmas gifts: About 95% purchased. Nothing we ordered has gotten delayed so far. We’ll have some store shopping to do once we hit SoCal. I got the local stuff bagged up yesterday afternoon and under the tree, so it looks very Christmassy. Have plans for doing stockings after we get back (or having them there waiting to be found by a returning Kitten). Bag of stuff to give Margie and Kitten out there is ready for putting into luggage.
- Christmas travel: Tickets all booked well in advance; just need to decide what we’re doing parkingwise (and confirm we’ve gotten the house sitting stuff dealt with). Weather looks to be delightful (leaving Thursday, snow doesn’t hit until Friday, at which time Katherine will be swimming in the pool). We took advantage of our recent visit to SoCal to carry out most of our needed baggage, so we’ll be on carry-on when we fly, huzzah.
For all that our schedules have been a mess this past quarter, we’re actually more ahead of the game than we have been for a couple of years.
