Virginia is for ONLY STRAIGHT lovers (AND JUDGES)

Disgusting. Delegate Bob Marshall (dolt) is basically arguing that because the state has legalized discrmination, those being discriminated against cannot possibly be judges. I repeat, disgusting.

This is the person who wanted women to be forced to undergo trans-vaginal ultrasounds; who believes that impregnated victims of rape are “sin-bearers”; who believes that women give birth to handicapped children as a punishment for an earlier abortion because “nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children”; who doesn’t want gays in the VA National Guard because other troops would catch diseases from them. I don’t expect anything like tolerance or reason from this person.

We here in Virginia have law makers who are dedicated to keeping America safe for idiocy.

Discrimination against a veteran who is also a gay man?
Shameful on all counts.

He could be a veteran that donated funds to nuns for an orphanage after having saved a bus-load of kittens from a fire. The fact he's gay trumps all of that (and reality), in some folks' eyes.

This is the same mindset where an openly gay soldier asked a question about discrimination and was booed at a GOP debate–not one candidate spoke out against the poor audience response.

For the record, I don't recall the Democratic nominee saying anything about this either. (Edit: Someone on the internet is WRONG! It's … me. )

"Some of you here may be folks who actually used to be Republicans but are puzzled by what's happened to that party, are puzzled by what's happening to that party. I mean, has anybody been watching the debates lately? You've got a governor whose state is on fire denying climate change," he said, to applause. "It's true. You've got audiences cheering at the prospect of somebody dying because they don't have health care and booing a service member in Iraq because they're gay.", Source: [4]
