Not surprisingly, #Trump once again comes off as a deluded but entitled #bully and/or mob boss, threatening people who don't kow-tow, making nonsensical claims ("we won the #Irish"), illogical assertions (there's a reason Europeans don't buy many US #cars, and the EU cars the US buys are often not what they buy domestically), & hypocritical cries about fairness (Ireland stole all our companies ... thru low taxes, just like #Texas).

#Republicans in #Congress have dodged voting for/against #Trump's #tariffs, as allowed by the National Emergencies Act, which says if an emergency is challenged in Congress (as Dems planned), the matter must be voted on within 15 calendar days.

The #GOP avoided public stances on the tariffs and Trump by passing a procedural change saying *no more days this year count as calendar days for the Natl Emergencies Act.*
