What's really interesting here is what Twitter's doing to keep this from being abused — limiting the time when a correction can be made, limiting the size of the correction, and some algorithmic goodies to try and keep the substantive meaning of the tweet the same. I have no doubt people will still be able to figure out some way to game this (and a thousand before-and-after animated GIFs are born), but I'm hoping it's limited enough to have this feature arrive and stick around.
