Consensus seems to be that it is a modern parody of both "Doctor Who" and this particular sort/era of Japanese TV show. But it's … brilliantly done. This one's for +Kay Hill, whose head may 'splode.

Our helpful #trash company has provided, free of charge (except as some fractional amount of our trash bill over time) brand new giant #garbagecans which their new trash trucks can easily lift and empty.

Without being concerned, apparently, as to whether folk actually have the space (esp. those of us who keep our trash cans inside the garage, given our snowy winters) for these significantly larger cans.

So I spent the day re-configuring my garage shelving, dagnabbit.
