Netflix is adding audio tracks to its shows, starting with "Daredevil," to assist the (fittingy, in this case) visually impaired. It's like an audiobook — and is particularly interesting to watch with the actual video, as in this hallway fight scene.

The punch-by-punch narrator for Daredevil’s fight scenes is crushing it
You may have recently seen the news that Netflix has added audio descriptions of on-screen action to Daredevil (with more shows to come) for visually impaired users. If you haven’t activated this…
Wow. NetFlix just set the bar. If that serves as their apology for missing it in the first place, it's a damn good one.
Good fkn fight scene. And I did enjoy the commentary, though it seemed a bit ahead of what was happening.
+Joshua Alvarez The timing was a bit off in places, but I think that was largely to allow for how quick some of the action was.
+Joshua Alvarez Keep in mind that the commentary's purpose is to describe the visuals without getting in the way of the existing audio track for a sightless viewer. Being told 'he crashes through the door' before the sound of him doing so is optimal, I would think.
Very impressed with daredevil and netfilx.
