Game Time

YouTube is becoming the site of choice for fun and interesting videos. Today’s selection: cool game commericials (and promotional videos) from the 1970s. Too much fun, especially since I (cough) remember some of these:

• We had an SSP (“with sonic sound!“), or, rather, my brother did. It was one of the Ramjet models, I believe, in a fluorescent green.
• I don’t recall Smash-Up Derby, but I remember the music from the commercial. That probably says something right there.

• I remember the ads for Water Wiggle and Slip ‘N’ Slide.

• We had a Masterpiece game. No idea if we still have it. While it wasn’t all that much fun, it was a great intro to classic art.

And, on a related note (and video), while I don’t remember this commercial, I did, indeed, have a lot of Major Matt Mason swag (from Andrew, I believe).
