Discovered another “Hill, Dave” in the corporate e-mail system, which is a recipe for hi-jinx and/or disaster as folks route critical stuff to the wrong one. One of the drawbacks to a common name like mine (and working in a large corporation) is that this crops up every year or so in the company. Dropped a message to the Messaging folks, and now the other dude is clearly marked “Hill, Dave (Glasgow).” Huzzah.

It’s too bad your folks didn’t anticipate this and give you a less-common name. I’ll bet there’s no “Aloysius Hill” at your company.
