That said — it in part depends on how rigorous Sensei is about the test. Katherine didn’t know her moves as well as I’d like her to have (though of the three kids testing for Yellow, she was, barely, in second place). The large gaps in her training over the last couple months (KOA + G&G Camp, etc.) definitely hurt (though Sensei, who had not been going to let her test, was impressed when she came back from G&G Camp by how much she apparently *had* practiced during that time, so …).
I’ve not seen (or been aware of) Sensei actually not passing a student, though I have no doubt he would if he thought they were not really ready for the next level and/or had been just not applying themselves. So it depends on how strict he’s going to be. I could see passing her, but if he doesn’t, I won’t be able to complain about it (though I suspect we’d have a *very* unhappy Kitten).
So, did she pass?
Won’t know until next week. And … Thursday, next week, as she’ll be at Girl Scout camp (or being picked up therefrom) Tuesday afternoon.
