Again with the bright-and-early. The team is basically arriving at 7, taking a half-hour lunch at 11, and gone by 3:30.
Lots of finishing the fill up on the patio, and completing the steps, both of them preparatory to flagstone. Main action, though, was building the steps to the street. Most of the focus was on the actual “steps,” with the stretches between the steps being dealt with to follow. Much progress on that, plus we had our first three boulders placed artistically by some steps.
The only other element of note is that last evening one of our neighbors was driving past as we were scoping things out, rolled down the window, and told us for several minutes how good it was looking. Which was nice. 🙂
