Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- 2010 TAX DAY TEA PARTY – Wow. Seeing people actually saying things (when they can actually articulate specific issues) that are so clearly, blatantly, mistaken … is even more scary than the punditry throwing out their talking points on a daily basis.
- My 4 Favorite Books for Christians – I can certainly endorse any of Bart Ehrman’s books. They aren’t anti-Christian or even anti-Bible diatribes, but scholarly descriptions of how the meme of a seamless, self-coherent, integrated Bible that is clearly the consistent and non-contradictory direct dictation of God is … um … not the actual Bible we have today.
- Should “Legal Pot” Be Made Illegal? – “Products not meant for human consumption.” Meant by whom? Have you actually read the ingredients labels at the supermarket?
- Supreme Court overturns anti-animal cruelty law in First Amendment case – As has been said many times in the past, the only way to protect reasonable speech is to protect all speech.
