Mystery solved!

Mimi

We’ve been trying to figure out, as a mild mystery in the household to which we’ve not been able to devote much time, how come we’ve been going through so many kitty treats.

This gets a bit confusing to track, since the cats beg (semi-successfully) every time someone’s in the kitchen. Plus we have a few different types open (normal vs anti-hairball). And which type is in the little ramekin we for kitty treats on the kitchen counter varies.

So it’s been more of a question than an actively pursued puzzle. Until now. As Margie reports by IM:

Discovered why we went through so many kitty treats lately.

Last night I found Mimi on the counter licking the crumbs out of the kitty treat bowl

Then about 5 min after I scolded her, she is back up trying to get the treat bags open.

This also explains why Mimi has been putting on the winter weight
