I'm sure there are what seem like sound business reasons for Twitter to be turning the screws on third-party clients and its API access, but it sure seems like something that could injure it in the long run, even as it seems to be so ubiquitous.
I am a scosh concerned over how the new API stuff will affect the various WordPress/Twitter plugins I use on my blog. It doesn't seem that it should, but I've been known to be wrong about such things.
