This movie never worked for me as a comedy. It succeeded admirably as a sci-fi adventure, though.
Murray's con man, Aykroyd and Ramis' (distinctly different) science nerds, Moranis' nerdiness, and a cast that plays off all of them — it's comedy gold to me.
