A federal court has ruled that border agents may not willy-nilly search whatever the hell they want, at least when it comes to electronics.
That's a good thing.

The fact that they can search through your actual computer seems bullshit without suspicion. Even the TSA has that ability. And many employers are instructing their employees to bypass the whole disk encryption is asked to do so.
