Chris Christie has suggested that it should be simple to somehow track immigrants (legal immigrants, mind you) in the US like we track FedEx packages.
I suggest that a tattooed bar code, or even just a simple machine-readable number on the forehead would be useful. This could easily be validated at any retail location to enable tracking of the individuals involved.
But, of course, in case someone slipped in without official documentation, we'd need to be able to know that. So the next step would clearly be a similar number on the forehead for all people in the US. Again, retail locations would be an easy checkpoint for this, and we could set it up so that nobody could buy or sell anything without their number being registered and tracked.
I think such an arrangement would be quite illuminating for the people of the United States. Indeed, it would be a positive Revelation.
Chris Christie: Let’s Track Immigrants Like FedEx Packages
One of the few Republican presidential hopefuls who hadn’t been espousing crazy ideas about immigration apparently did not want to get left behind. At a campaign stop in New Hampshire, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said that if he were president, he would track immigrants like Federal Express packages. “You…
Yeah…
And yet I seem to remember the christianists freaking out about "the number of the beast" stuff years ago over other things.
I guess if one of theirs says it, it's okay.
Wacky.
Forget immigrants. Let's track our politicians. We deserve accountability!
