But if you do already know what's going on in her backstory, this will seriously whet your appetite. They've picked up on some tonality from the Bendis Marvel series very, very nicely, it seems.

I didn’t much care for the comic, and I’m not sure how it could ever tie into the MCU we have right now, but that said, I really enjoyed Daredevil and am looking forward to this series. I liked Jessica Jones in the Avengers (before I gave up on comics altogether).

They've chosen a good story, but I don't care for Ritter's performance. Also, Killgrave should be PURPLE! (I guess that's too much to hope for, but I don't see why. Anybody who watches Face Off knows that amazing things can be done with makeup these days.)
They had me with the after-the-bar-fight teaser.
There's some purple visual theming going on there. I suspect that's as much as we'll get (an actual purple character would be a bit out there for the Marvel TV Universe).
