For my money the best of the original trilogy, with a more epic scope than the original and less cuteness/slapstick than the third. 4/5 stars (and a "favorite" heart).

I agree. When Return of the Jedi came out, it was almost like they looked back at Empire and decided it was too serious and decided to avoid that route again. Too bad. The ewoks weren't as irritating as Jar Jar Binks, but they weren't my favorite part of the trilogy.
My fave of all of the Star Wars movies.
+Marty Shaw What was more annoying than Jar-Jar was that there were a whole race of him.
+Stan Pedzick It takes itself seriously (as the first film did): Jedi, often, does not.
Thankfully I hate Ewoks and Gungans equally.
Empire will always be my favorite 🙂
