Based on the proposed Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment (RAISE) Act, I don't quite sufficiently score as being a worthwhile future citizen of the US — largely because I'm older, I'm not planning on multi-million dollar investments, I don't have a Nobel Prize or Olympic Medal, and my prospective job is not incredibly lucrative.

On the bright side, I speak English fluently, so I will be able to write many pleading letters to the immigration authorities.
Thank you, Donald Trump and GOP Administration, for making America the laughing stock of the world. So damn embarrassing.
I got only 18 points.
Surely you haven't neglected to see whether Donald Trump could pass?
There are many uncertainties about T's score, most notably concerning his English.
Yeah, me neither. The age thing also affects whether you'd be likely to have an advanced degree, and also likely salary – these three items are very much not independent variables.
How many people should we let in?
A million? How about a billion?
+Stanley Hardaway please provide evidence there is anywhere close to a billion candidates to immigrate into this cesspool of liars of a country.
+Stanley Hardaway It's a legit question to ask whether we should have any border control, or, if we have controls on immigration, what the appropriate number should be.
On the other hand, given that we have a status quo, I think the burden of proof is on the Administration and folk in Congress who want to change the current system to demonstrate that there's actually a need to do so. All we have thus far is a vague "Furriners are takin' our jobs!" set of explicit excuses. (The implicit excuses of "Furriners talk and smell funny, unless they're rich" aren't given openly.)
I shared this on Facebook, and ironically the only two people who qualified out of all the commenters were my sister-in-law from Venezuela and her brother’s girlfriend who lives in Spain.
+Dave Hill : We allow more immigration than any other nation on earth already.
Who wouldn't want to immigrate here?
I don't blame people for sneaking in ; at all. Hell.. I would too.
+Stanley Hardaway "We allow more immigration than any other nation on earth already." Which is an observation, but isn't (even if true) an argument on the merits of changing the status quo.
