When he saw her, he knew she was something special, and that she would play a special role in his life.
Which sounds kind of romantic, until you realize it’s:
1. Roy Moore, accused of pursuing and sexually assaulting under-age teens when he was in his 30s.
2. Roy Moore speaking about the woman who would become his wife a decade later … about when he saw her at a dance recital … when he was around 30, and she was 15-16 years old.
“I knew Kayla was going to be a special person in my life,” Moore wrote about when he first saw her when she was 15 years old. He wrote he began dating her when she was 23, a year before they married, according to the memoir.
“Anxious to meet her, I began with the line, ‘Haven’t we met somewhere before?’ ‘I don’t think so,’ she replied,” he said, recalling the moment they met at a church Christmas party.
But he recalled first seeing her “many years ago” at a dance recital at a nearby college in Alabama. He wrote he never forgot her, even when he saw her again years later.
That’s … a bit less romantic.
And one has to wonder what Roy Moore was doing at a teenage girls dance recital in the first place.
Just to be clear, this isn’t one of the several women who claim Moore leched after them when they were teenager and he was in his 30s. This is Moore himself talking about a 15-16 year old dancer catching his twice-her-age eye in a way he “never forgot” and that made him sure she was going to be be “a special person” in his life.
And that’s the GOP Senatorial candidate that Donald Trump thinks should be believed in his denials about the allegations. Well, perhaps we should also believe Moore’s own words in this matter, too.
More here.
Roy Moore says he first noticed his wife when she was 15 or 16 years old – CNNPolitics
Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of pursuing romantic relationships with teenagers while in his 30s, said he first noticed his future wife eight years before he formally met her — when she would have been as young as 15 years old.
Age of consent in Alabama is 16 :/
THE FUCK
+Solaire True — but not if the older partner is 19+ yo.
Regardless, still squicky.

Trumps favorite pussy grabber, he learned well, lol
+Dave Hill are you talking about this segment?
13A-6-67 : (a) A person commits the crime of sexual abuse in the second degree if: …
(2) He, being 19 years old or older, subjects another person to sexual contact who is LESS than 16 years old, but more than 12 years old.
I mean, am I missing something? That or you can't read.
+Solaire No, you're correct, I was reading something there that wasn't there.
+Dave Hill Honorable. I respect that. Online discussions can become rather toxic.
This is a battle of good morals vs pretend morals. Think about it this way! He is looking at your daughters way different then you. How comfortable you are with your daughter being left alone with ole nasty uncle Roy then enjoy when he comes and asks you for your 14 year olds round in the hay. Wtf people wtf
That fact that he said he would ask parents is way more scary then just doing it. That means the parents and Alabama as a whole are involved in child sex exchange. Let's call it what it is

Age of consent or not, the real question everyone should be asking themselves is: Would you let a 30 year old man ask for your permission to date your 15, 16, or 17 year old daughter?
