“Does this artwork look like me?” Um, only in a vague “if I squint” way, but it’s a fun gimmick, and a lot of folk have come up with much better matches.

Of course, if you get a 100% match against someone who is not you (and most of us don't have portraits in museums), that's a fail of the algorithm.
My match was only 41% or so. And it was against some Russian artwork. #MAGA
Yeah mine didn't come out well either, but I can actually see what the app is thinking with yours. Same hair style, similar facial structure and shape
I can think of some for myself but it's not available in my location (why????)
I've been playing with this and it seems to notice the pose and superficial features most; glasses, facial hair, hairline, amount of hair, posture, etc. I've yet to get a match above 50% which is either encouraging or alienating, I haven't decided.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to launch this function/application on Google Arts & Culture.
+John Hummel for me it is a "featured item" in the stream of the app and I had to scroll down a little to see it. (Hope that helps.)
Thanks, +John Wehrle. (I seem to have no such stream. That could explain my confusion. Thanks again!)
Not availabe in Australia. Bugger!
