Some updates to the Gmail UI are in the works

I’ve actually been using Google’s Inbox tool for the past few years, rather than Gmail, but I might give the new Gmail a try when it comes out. The Snooze feature is awfully nice.

Gmail.com redesign leaks, looks pretty incredible
Add-ons let you use Google Calendar while writing emails? Genius!

  1. My calendar events pop up (via Chrome), and Reminders created in Mail, Calendar, or Keep all pop up in each other, already.

But, again, it's about use cases; I don't live in my email (which could change again once I land a job); I check my email. So having a fractional calendar taking up space on my email screen doesn't seem helpful for me, though I can appreciate that for some folk it does.
