When I was a kid “let me finish this chapter” was always my response. And of course I never noticed when the next chapter started.

I wish this would have worked in my house when I was growing up, but my dad didn't care how many words away the end of the chapter was, we had to drop what we were doing at a snap. XD Long live military parents, right?
