This Chinese lunar satellite pic is really cool, both for its view of the far side of the moon and for it's perspective shot of Earth in the background. Especially, given the relative size of the Moon and the Earth, in how it shows how far apart the two bodies are.

+Brian7557 Yes, there have been photos of the dark side since the 1960s. It's just (a) not something you usually see, esp. with (b) the Earth in the background.
And it's not even the "dark" side, but the "far" side. If you think about how moon phases worked, combined with it being tidally locked, you realize that all sides of the moon go through the same 28 day dark/light cycle….
