Some airport security screeners have been using pat-downs to do some not-so-subtle groping. And, until this weekend, nobody was really doing anything about it.
Is anyone else shocked that Argenbright security is involved in this sort of mess again?

A completely impersonal search seems less effective as a deterrent (which is, really and honestly, all that most of these so-called security measures are) but I guess there’s a difference between frisking and getting frisky.
Folks being frisked should feel a bit intimidated, but also confident that the frisking was effective. (I call to mind a frisking I went through many years ago flying from Gatwick to Dublin.) While I can some folks getting a bit overly-weirded out by the episode, I would not at all be surprised to find that some of the choice picks working screening were copping a feel or two, given their general professionalism the rest of the time.
