Any new faux Watergates to spring on us, Donald? Or just a distracting trip down memory lane? Yeah, pretty much the latter.
► Is it true the DNC would not allow the FBI access to check server or other equipment after learning it was hacked? Can that be possible? [1]
That's correct — they did not. And that's not new news, either, Donald, it was reported on widely at the time.[3] I think you even tweeted about it.[4]
And, yeah, that sure seems ill-advised … though there may have been concerns over the FBI in turn leaking material that they found on the server (you know all about concerns around leaks, right, Donald?). They did in fact utilize a highly respected third-party security firm to review the servers and pass the results on to the FBI. Not quite the same, to be sure, but not for nothing.
► Who was it that secretly said to Russian President, "Tell Vladimir that after the election I'll have more flexibility?" @foxandfriends [2]
And that would be Barack Obama, as was also widely reported, all the way back in 2012,[5] regarding negotiations on missile defense systems. Nor did he try to cover it up while under oath. Nor is there a US intelligence conclusion that the Russians tried to throw the election in Obama's favor.
So … what is, in fact, the point here, Donald? That lots of people have talked with the Russians? Sure. That the DNC was secretive? Gotcha. That people say and do things in private that other people leap on when its revealed? Yup.
But your point seems to be a bit more … flailing than that. I mean, fergoshsakes, you're arguments from months or years ago in trying to distract from problems in your own house. Rather than throwing open the books, you're jumping up and down and pointing at someone else and saying "I never did! And they did something bad first!"
I mean, I'm sure it's a comfort to some people who dislike the Democrats, but it really doesn't address any of the accusations leveled toward you and your team. And the more you keep doing it, the more people begin to wonder, "What exactly is he hiding there?"

Is someone feeding him tweet suggestions? Those show too much memory and too much sanity to be his own.
+Kee Hinckley It's pretty standard for folk to track down what Fox News, et al., story/commentary "inspired" an outburst by Trump, often word for word.
Which isn't to say that Bannon, et al., don't sit down on the couch with a cup of coffee and say, "Hey, did you see the latest outrageous thing those libtards are doing?"
