- The American capacity to ‘absorb’ adversity – This strikes me as one of the silliest attacks on Obama to date. Touting the resiliency and determination of the United States is supposedly now inviting another attack, or demonstrates that Obama doesn’t care about American’s dying? Really? I thought the old criticism was that Obama was an apologist who didn’t think much of the US; now he’s being criticized (by the same people) for arguing for America’s strength.
- One of the most effective ads of the cycle – As someone who follows the IT industry, and who was very in tune with what was going on at HP during Fiorina’s tenure, I’m flabbergasted that she’s running ON her record, rather than away from it.
