I don't know which is funnier/scarier, Newt trying to appeal to the Palin shippers by hinting he might choose her as a running mate (or some other cabinet position, maybe), his weaseling around it with weaselly weasel words, his thinking this will actually bump his sagging poll numbers, or the thought that there is some alternate universe where she does actually get a crack at being a heartbeat-away again. #ddtb
