  1. I like FF. DH likes Chrome. For us they have different features and aspects that we like and suits us well. Why can't people just let things go exist? This isn't Highlander where there can be only one.

  2. +Sandy L. For a decade, there was really only one OS. There still is really only one office suite in most people's eyes. For most of people's remembrance of the WWW, there was only one browser (though I didn't use it :P). Remember that the "e" means Internet.

    People just assume that there can only be one.

    I put together a graph of the surprisingly linear market share changes StatCounter provided over the last year, and it predicted that Chrome passes IE in June. I'll see if I can dig it up and provide a link.

  3. Actually, per the article, Google is pushing for there not to be one … for a healthy competition among multiple browser publishers to drive innovation and a better experience for all users. Kinda cool.
