“Hard science fiction” is out, and Sci Fi is trying to save money. That’s the reason why Farscape was cancelled, they say.
All I know is that they cancelled Farscape, but they’re bringing back Battlestar Galactica.
Yeesh.
Not that I won’t watch it, mind you, but, still …

Well, it would be amazing if it was worse than the original.
As long as they dont bring back Galactica 1980!
The loss of “Farscape” doesn’t make me write-off the SciFi channel, but somehow I don’t think “Battlestar Galactica” is going to be something that I take time for every week.
And that’s true of most of SciFi’s current programs.
Feh. Except for SG-1, I don’t watch any series on SciFi, anyway. I would like Farscape, but the wife never got past “muppets,” which she can’t stand.
Dagon was fun the other night, though.
Other then the next Dune mini, I don’t see any reason to watch SciFi anymore.
It was a slap in the face to hear that Farscape had been cancelled, only to see ads for the upcoming “Tremors” series. What are the folks at SciFi thinking? I’m anxiously awaiting the Dune miniseries, but when Farscape is gone there won’t be much on SciFi that interests me. If I want to watch Xfiles reruns, I can find them on two other networks.
