I pronounced it Mix-IZ-puh-tulk as a kid, with only the comics to go by (actually, at firs it was mix-IZ-tuh-pulk). Then the 90s cartoons made it mix-iz-PIT-uh-lik, I had a friend who said MIX-ul-plik, which I thought was crazy. He explained that it was from The Super Friends. Knowing that, I got a laugh when Superboy Prime pronounced it that way in a comic. 🙂
