Just in case anyone thought that the “Left” and “Right” were coherent in their views on any given issue (assuming as well that they are coherent titles to begin with), the Flea offers some observations:
Left
Censorship is bad because adults should be able to hear curse-words on tv.
Censorship is good because tobacco advertising, heck, all advertising, is evil.
Right
Censorship is bad because people have the right to erect a Golden Calf in their court-room.
Censorship is good because boobies on tv could lead to dancing.
Etc.

Actually, I think the article is spot on (hence my linkage to it).
Of course, I’ve been known to be a bit loony toon at times as well.
