Katherine lost her second tooth. Woo-hoo!
It was, she informs us, lost in her ham sandwich. She was unsure if it had come out (after being so wiggly for a few days) until she actually bit her lost tooth, which she finds very amusing.
She went to the “clinic” and they gave her a little pink treasure box to put it in safely.

Last night we snuck into Katherine’s room, and in an operation worthy of Jim Phelps & Co., “extracted” the tooth from its little pill box holder, replacing it with a Sacagawea dollar. Then, exiting, giggled like maniacs.
Some things about parenting make up for a lot of the hassles. 🙂
You can see that the replacement for her first tooth is breaking skin already. Katherine has a narrow jaw, alas, and almost certainly will be needing orthdonture (and early).
Yay on operation tooth fairy!
