… as the bad guy went down …
… and she got taken out …
… by the last
… couple of pips of caltrops damage.
She got the brownie.
Oh, that is sad. 🙁

The most common death like that for me.. Frostfire.
Most of my characters have solo’d him. Several have dropped from him hitting them with Chilblain and having one last DoT tick from the immobilize finish them off. Or having him drop and his pets throw a final attack before they drop too. Complete the mission successfully, but irritating as all get out.
Even though I know there is no difference where in a mission a death comes (early on so that by the time the mish is over the debt is made up, or later in the mish so that you have left-over debt but a higher level of XP below that), having it happen at the end is always more annoying.
