That will, in fact, change soon.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, news that&#8217;s been accumulating in the in-box &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Champs Online:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> A nice article on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tentonhammer.com\/node\/68230\" target=\"_blank\">thematic power set building through &#8220;frameworks.&#8221;<\/a> Rather than focusing on archetypes, the CO folks are trying to let people do a lot more picking and choosing of different types of powers amongst varied sets. Will this add welcome flexibility, create confusion, or let min-maxxers unbalance the game? Should be interesting to see, but it sounds promising.<\/li>\n<li> I am so pleased that <a href=\"http:\/\/pc.ign.com\/dor\/objects\/844881\/cryptic-studios-mmo-project\/videos\/championsonline_trl_powerarmor_52109.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;power armor&#8221; is its own power set<\/a>. That&#8217;s been a serious frustration for me in CoX.<\/li>\n<li> Another good <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gameshark.com\/features\/593\/Champions-Online-Developer-Q&amp;A.htm\" target=\"_blank\">survey interview<\/a> here. One interesting note: Cryptic basically bought the Champions property, and is licensing it back to Hero Games.<\/li>\n<li> And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmorpg.com\/gamelist.cfm\/game\/335\/feature\/3096\/page\/1\" target=\"_blank\">yet another review of the game<\/a>, with some good information. Not sure that the &#8220;console&#8221; orientation is a plus, but there&#8217;s plenty of positive stuff conveyed.<\/li>\n<li> How to make sure players <a href=\"http:\/\/championsonlinedailynews.com\/sex-and-millennium-city\/#continue\" target=\"_blank\">don&#8217;t make nekkid characters<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>City of Heroes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofheroes.com.webdev.ncaustin.com\/news\/news_archive\/coh_issue_15_anniversary_open.html\" target=\"_blank\">I15 Open Beta is &#8230; open<\/a>?
