Never turn down a recipe from someone who has been cooking for more that 50 years.
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg dark fudge cake mix
- 1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
- Preheat oven 359°.
- Stir all together.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9 X 13 pan.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
Icing:
Ingredients:
- 1 c sugar
- 5 Tab butter/margarine
- 1/2 c milk
Directions:
- Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 6 oz. chocolate chips. (1 cup)
- Stir until smooth.
- Pour on hot cake.
- Enjoy!
