The recipe should work as a bar cookie in a 9&#215;13 pan too.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2 c crushed chocolate wafer cookies (about 25 cookies)<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 c sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 c butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>20 bars (fun-size) candy, unwrapped, cut into quarters (about 2 cups of cut candy)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 300\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Spray a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>To minimize cracking, place a shallow pan half full of hot water on lower oven rack. (Optional)<\/li>\n<li>In medium bowl, mix cookie crumbs, sugar and butter.<\/li>\n<li>Press on the bottom of the pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with electric mixer until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in eggs, one at a time, just until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in vanilla and candy.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over crust.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until the edge of the cheesecake is set at least 2 inches from the edge of the pan but the center of the cheesecake still jiggles slightly when moved.<\/li>\n<li>Run a small metal spatula around edge of pan to loosen the cheesecake.<\/li>\n<li>Turn oven off.<\/li>\n<li>Open door at least 4 inches.<\/li>\n<li>Let cheesecake remain in oven 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cool in pan on cooling rack 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.<\/li>\n<li>Just before serving, run small metal spatula around edge of pan.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully remove side of pan.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and refrigerate any remaining cheesecake.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 12<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0<\/strong>Betty Crocker via Jackie Wolfgang<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A treat for those who think they are too old to Trick-or-Treat!\u00a0 Plan ahead, it needs to refrigerate overnight.
