So easy, in fact, that baking a batch of these might just become part of your weekend routine.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd c cocoa powder or 2 oz unsweetened dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c butter (1 stick)<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 c sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc c flour<\/li>\n<li>1 c chopped or broken-up walnuts or pecans<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 325\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Melt butter in saucepan with cocoa.<\/li>\n<li>Stir until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in sugar.\u00a0 Yes, right into the pan.\u00a0 Mix it all in the pan, one less thing to wash.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk in eggs, one at a time.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in vanilla.<\/li>\n<li>Mix in flour and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Add nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Stir until just combined.<\/li>\n<li>Pour into a greased 8 x 8-inch-square pan.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
