{"id":1710,"date":"2015-04-04T05:10:15","date_gmt":"2015-04-04T11:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=1710"},"modified":"2019-05-25T16:40:43","modified_gmt":"2019-05-25T22:40:43","slug":"gorgonzola-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/gorgonzola-sauce.html","title":{"rendered":"Gorgonzola Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"CENTER\"><em>I love all things blue cheesey and this is the BEST sauce for any beef.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 c heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>3- 4 oz crumbly Gorgonzola(not creamy or \u201cdolce\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>3 tab freshly grated Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 tsp kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li>3 tab minced fresh parsley<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Bring the cream to a full boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Watch, it will boil over!<\/li>\n<li>Lower heat to an active simmer (just low enough it does not boil over) for 15 to 20 minutes, until it\u2019s thickened, like a white sauce, stirring frequently.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add the Gorgonzola, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and parsley.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk rapidly until the cheeses melt.<\/li>\n<li>To reheat, warm the sauce over low heat until melted, then whisk vigorously until the sauce comes together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>Makes 3 cups<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source:<\/b> Barefoot Contessa Parties! by Ina Garten<\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love all things blue cheesey and this is the BEST sauce for any beef.
