{"id":1745,"date":"2015-04-06T19:02:56","date_gmt":"2015-04-07T01:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=1745"},"modified":"2016-05-17T10:09:14","modified_gmt":"2016-05-17T16:09:14","slug":"roasted-garlic-how-to-batch-roast-and-freeze-garlic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/roasted-garlic-how-to-batch-roast-and-freeze-garlic.html","title":{"rendered":"Roasted Garlic: How to Batch Roast and Freeze Garlic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"CENTER\"><em>The big bag is such a bargain, but what do you do with 200 cloves left after your recipe is made??<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Garlic cloves, peeled (You know, the big bag\/jar from Costco)<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; Pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large bowl, toss garlic with a generous amount of olive oil &#8211; enough to coat each clove.<\/li>\n<li>Spread garlic cloves onto a foil lined baking sheet in a single layer.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the baking sheet with foil, making sure you have a good seal over top and around the edges.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 375 degrees for one hour.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from oven cool (without removing foil) for about 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove foil and allow to cool to room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Place in a freezer bag and freezing flat.
