Sometimes I think he makes up work functions just so I make a batch of these savory appetizers&#8230;and he can snack on them at his desk.&#8221;\u2014Kathi Bloomer, Noblesville, Indiana<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"rd_recipe_print_title\"><em>And I don&#8217;t blame him! \u00a0Yummy good!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We made these last week and had a &#8220;re-think&#8221; on the recipe.\u00a0 Flatten each can of rolls.\u00a0 Spread filling on one, top with other.\u00a0 Cut into squares or strips.\u00a0 Bake.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<section class=\"rd_recipe_yield rd_print_together\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/section>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"rd_name\">2 tubes (8 ounces <i>each<\/i>) refrigerated crescent rolls<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 packages (8 ounces <i>each<\/i>) cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>3 cans (4 ounces <i>each<\/i>) mushroom stems and pieces, drained and chopped<\/li>\n<li>1-1\/4 teaspoons garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon water<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section class=\"rd_print_together\">\n<h4 class=\"rd_ingredients_print_header rd_directionheader\">Directions<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"rd_direction_desc rd_name\">1. Unroll crescent dough into two long rectangles<br \/>\n2. Seal seams and perforations.<br \/>\n3. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mushrooms, garlic powder and Cajun seasoning.<br \/>\n4. Spread over dough to within 1 in. of edges.<br \/>\n<\/span>5. Roll up each rectangle, jelly-roll style, starting with a long side<br \/>\n6. Seal edges.<br \/>\n7. Place seam side down on a greased baking sheet.<br \/>\n8. Beat egg and water; brush over dough.<br \/>\n9. Sprinkle with cheese.<br \/>\n10. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.<br \/>\n11.
