Wei-ling Louie was the\u00a0instructor\u00a0<\/em><em>and we made many wonderful Chinese dishes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 c sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 c vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 c catsup<\/li>\n<li>2 Tab cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>1 c water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a sauce pan combine sugar and cornstarch.<\/li>\n<li>Add rest of ingredients and cook over medium heat until bubbly and thickened.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with won ton strips or dim sum.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:\u00a0<\/strong>about 1 1\/2 cups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0<\/strong>Wei-ling Louie<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I took a dim sum class in Adult Ed back in the 70&#8217;s (They had fun courses back then!)
