{"id":2787,"date":"2016-03-01T10:23:58","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T17:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=2787"},"modified":"2016-04-22T14:12:46","modified_gmt":"2016-04-22T20:12:46","slug":"world-famous-twice-baked-potatoes-with-bacon-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/world-famous-twice-baked-potatoes-with-bacon-2.html","title":{"rendered":"World Famous Twice Baked Potatoes With Bacon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"CENTER\"><em>Everyone has a favorite twice baked potato recipe but this one is mighty good!<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">10 small baking potatoes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">coarse salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">10 slices bacon, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1\/4 c red wine<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1 tsp garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1 c butter (2 cubes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1 c sour cream<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">2 c shredded cheddar cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1 Tab onion powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">2 Tab fresh chives ( or 2 tsp dried)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">2 tsp dried parsley<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1\/2 tsp black pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">1 tsp salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">paprika<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Preheat oven to 400<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\">\u00b0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: large\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Rinse the potatoes and vent them with a fork 6-8 times.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Lightly brush potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Bake in the oven 45-60 minutes, until outside is crispy and inside feels soft.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Cook up bacon on medium heat until lightly crispy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Add wine and garlic. Leave on very low heat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">After removing potatoes from the oven, cut in half lengthwise.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Scoop out potato and put into large bowl. You should now have 20 potato shells.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Combine potato and butter. Blend with a mixer on low speed until butter melts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Add sour cream, seasoning, 1 \u00bd cups of the cheese and the bacon mixture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Beat on high speed until smooth. Add more seasoning if necessary to taste.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Place potatoes on a baking sheet or dish<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Spoon mixture into shells.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Use the remaining cheddar cheese to top each potato and sprinkle with paprika.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large\">Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until potato is warm and cheese on top is crispy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 10<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><strong>Source:<\/strong> By Bakabeth on April 10, 2007<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone has a favorite twice baked potato recipe but this one is mighty good!
