Helps keep meat moist when BBQ<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 c water &#8211; hot<\/li>\n<li>1 c white wine<\/li>\n<li>2 Tab Kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Tab brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 Tab blackberry syrup &#8211; or other fruit syrup\/puree<\/li>\n<li>2 tea bags<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c ice cubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place salt, sugar, tea, in 1 gallon zip-lock bag.<\/li>\n<li>Pour in hot water, seal and slosh to dissolve sugar and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Add remaining ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add additional ice cubes if mixture is still warm.<\/li>\n<li>Add protein to bag and marinate in refrigerator.\u00a0 See Brine Time Guide in Miscellaneous Information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves: <\/strong>2-3 pounds of meat<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>MLK<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great summer brine works with chicken, pork or seafood.
