This recipe is from my grandmother from when she lived at the Hotel del Coronado during WWII.<\/i><br \/>\n<b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup catsup<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 pint (2 c) buttermilk (Fresh, not frozen, makes it too thin) or sour cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 lemons &#8212; Juiced (2 &#8211; 3 Tablespoons)<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>orange juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix \u00a0mayo and catsup.<\/li>\n<li>Add buttermilk\/sour cream, Worcestershire Sauce, lemon and orange juice.<\/li>\n<li>Mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Thin with orange juice if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b> VAK (Mom) uses Miracle Whip, buttermilk and the juice of one lemon and one orange.
