{"id":3691,"date":"2017-06-14T13:38:38","date_gmt":"2017-06-14T19:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=3691"},"modified":"2017-08-23T11:35:56","modified_gmt":"2017-08-23T17:35:56","slug":"cheesy-party-burgers-aka-diamond-burgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/cheesy-party-burgers-aka-diamond-burgers.html","title":{"rendered":"Cheeseburgers in Paradise (AKA Diamond Burgers)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This is a good way to serve multiple burgers without the need for condiments. \u00a0I would suggest a more generous amount of ground beef. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 pound lean ground beef<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 teaspoon cumin<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp mustard powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp smoked paprika<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 c diced onion (about 1 whole onion)(a 3 lb bag of diced onions is 12 cups.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3-4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, drained<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">12 slices cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">12 dinner rolls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Glaze<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 c (8 Tab) butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tab brown sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tab\u00a0Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tab yellow mustard<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tab sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"directions\">Directions:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Coat 9\u00d713 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Place a large skillet on the stove top over high heat.<\/li>\n<li>When the pan is very hot, add the beef and season with salt, pepper, cumin, mustard powder, and paprika.<\/li>\n<li>Add the onion and garlic, and cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and onions are golden.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in drained tomatoes until well combined.<\/li>\n<li>Place bottom half of buns in prepared pan.<\/li>\n<li>Top with beef &amp; sliced cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Finish off with the top half of the bun.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the ingredients for the glaze in a sauce pan over medium heat until melted, smooth and combined.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over the buns.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong>\u00a012\u00a0burgers<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"shr_canvas2\" class=\"shareaholic-canvas shareaholic-ui shareaholic-resolved-canvas ng-scope\" data-app-id=\"476537\" data-app=\"share_buttons\" data-title=\"Cheesy Party Burgers (AKA Diamond Burgers)\" data-link=\"http:\/\/www.kevinandamanda.com\/cheesy-party-burgers-aka-diamond-burgers\/\" data-summary=\"\">\u00a0<strong>Source: \u00a0<\/strong>Kevin <em>&amp;<\/em> Amanda, FOOD.
