{"id":4296,"date":"2018-04-26T19:45:03","date_gmt":"2018-04-27T01:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=4296"},"modified":"2018-04-26T19:45:03","modified_gmt":"2018-04-27T01:45:03","slug":"spinach-balls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/spinach-balls.html","title":{"rendered":"Spinach Balls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>These look sort of odd but taste really good.\u00a0 If you think you need a dip, try Marinara sauce.\u00a0 They can be frozen.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"section=title\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach<\/li>\n<li>1 (6 ounce) packages chicken Stove Top stuffing mix<\/li>\n<li>1 c grated Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>6 eggs, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 c butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>salt, pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>toothpicks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"section clrfix directions\">\n<h4><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven 350\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>Cook spinach according to instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Drain in a sieve. Use back of a wooden spoon to press the spinach against the sieve to get as much moisture as possible out.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl combine the spinach, stuffing mix, cheese, eggs, butter, salt&amp; pepper<\/li>\n<li>Mix thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Roll into small balls 3\/4 to 1&#8243; size.<\/li>\n<li>Place balls on a cookie sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
