{"id":4455,"date":"2017-08-24T11:20:41","date_gmt":"2017-08-24T17:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=4455"},"modified":"2017-08-24T11:20:41","modified_gmt":"2017-08-24T17:20:41","slug":"tropical-salmon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/tropical-salmon.html","title":{"rendered":"Tropical Salmon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Salmon is sooo good and sooo easy! \u00a0Just don&#8217;t cook it too long. \u00a0Remember, it still cooks a little after you take it of the grill.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 whole salmon filet &#8211; skin off or on (Costco 5 &#8211; 7 lbs)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp coriander<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp lemon pepper<\/li>\n<li>Nonstick cooking spray<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Coat your grill or a grill pan with cooking spray and preheat over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Combine coriander, brown sugar and lemon pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Place salmon on grill, top side down.<\/li>\n<li>Grill only long enough to get grill marks &#8211; 4 &#8211; 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Flip onto cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Rub brown sugar mix onto cooked side of the salmon.<\/li>\n<li>Finish under the broiler in the oven or, if camping, back on the grill, on the cookie sheet. 5 &#8211; 6 minutes should do it. \u00a0Tent with foil to finish cooking.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with a fruity salsa.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves: \u00a0<\/strong>Plan on 6 oz per serving<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source: \u00a0<\/strong> Cathy Painter\/Allison Cozza<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salmon is sooo good and sooo easy! \u00a0Just don&#8217;t cook it too long. \u00a0Remember, it still cooks a little after you take it of the grill.
