{"id":4909,"date":"2017-12-03T13:25:21","date_gmt":"2017-12-03T20:25:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=4909"},"modified":"2020-12-25T05:09:26","modified_gmt":"2020-12-25T12:09:26","slug":"dashers-dazzle-dust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/dashers-dazzle-dust.html","title":{"rendered":"Dasher&#8217;s Dazzle Dust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>On Christmas Eve, sprinkle this magic reinder food on your lawn.\u00a0 As soon as you are asleep, the glitter will begin to sparkle in the moonlight and light Santa&#8217;s way to your house.\u00a0 Dasher and the reindeer will enjoy the oats while Santa is busy delivering your gifts!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup uncooked oatmeal<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp edible red glitter (like for decorating cakes)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp edible green glitter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix oats and glitter in a small bowl until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon into a snack-size ziplock bag and seal carefully.<\/li>\n<li>Add a copy of the note above.\u00a0 You can decorate it with stickers, markers, etc.\u00a0 Make it festive!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We made lots more and put it bowl with the reindeer&#8217;s names on them &#8220;so everyone got some&#8221; &#8211; children know!<\/p>\n<p>Craft glitter can harm birds or wildlife if ingested.
