Cook over medium heat, shaking pan until nuts are lightly browned. )<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 c cold butter<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vegetable shortening<\/li>\n<li>1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand\u00ae Sweetened Condensed Milk<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 c all purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">divided<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2\/3 c sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 350\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Combine flour and sugar in small bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Press onto bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown<\/li>\n<li>Melt <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1 cup<\/span><\/strong> chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk in medium saucepan.<\/li>\n<li>Cool slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in egg.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in almonds and almond extract.<\/li>\n<li>Spread over partially baked crust.<\/li>\n<li>Bake an additional 25 minutes or until set.<\/li>\n<li>Cool.<\/li>\n<li>Melt remaining <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1\/2 cup<\/span><\/strong> chocolate chips with shortening in small saucepan.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle over bars.
